फरीदाबाद। आर्थिक अपराधों के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत फरीदाबाद पुलिस ने इंडियन बैंक की छायंसा शाखा से जुड़े एटीएम राशि गबन मामले में बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। थाना छायंसा पुलिस ने मामले में पूर्व सहायक शाखा प्रबंधक को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी की पहचान संदीप कुमार निवासी सेक्टर-2 रोहिणी, दिल्ली के रूप में हुई है।

पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार, आरोपी इंडियन बैंक शाखा छायंसा में सहायक शाखा प्रबंधक के पद पर कार्यरत था और उसे एटीएम संचालन से जुड़ी जिम्मेदारियां भी सौंपी गई थीं। जांच के दौरान एटीएम नकदी और बैंक रिकॉर्ड में लाखों रुपये का अंतर सामने आया, जिसके बाद मामला दर्ज किया गया।

कैश मिलान में सामने आई गड़बड़ी

पुलिस प्रवक्ता के मुताबिक, इंडियन बैंक शाखा छायंसा के शाखा प्रबंधक Vishnu Dev ने शिकायत देकर बताया कि संदीप कुमार 12 अगस्त 2024 से 8 अप्रैल 2025 तक शाखा में कार्यरत था। इस दौरान उसे एटीएम ऑफिसर की जिम्मेदारी भी दी गई थी।

7 अप्रैल 2025 को शाखा से जुड़े एटीएम का कैश मिलान किया गया। जांच में पाया गया कि बैंक के CBS System में दर्ज राशि और एटीएम में मौजूद वास्तविक नकदी में 6 लाख 62 हजार रुपये का अंतर है। इसके बाद मामले की आंतरिक जांच शुरू की गई।

पूछताछ में आरोपी ने कबूला गबन

प्रारंभिक पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपी संदीप कुमार ने एटीएम से राशि निकालने की बात स्वीकार कर ली। पुलिस के अनुसार, आरोपी ने बाद में 2 लाख 30 हजार रुपये बैंक में वापस जमा करवा दिए, लेकिन अभी भी 4 लाख 32 हजार रुपये की राशि बकाया है।

शिकायत मिलने के बाद थाना छायंसा में संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया। पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर आगे की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

कर्ज के दबाव में किया गबन

जांच में सामने आया है कि आरोपी पर आर्थिक कर्ज था। इसी दबाव के चलते उसने बैंक की राशि का दुरुपयोग किया। पुलिस के अनुसार, आरोपी एटीएम मशीन में वास्तविक आवश्यकता से कम नकदी डालता था और बैंक सिस्टम में गलत एंट्री दर्ज कर देता था। बची हुई राशि वह अपने पास रख लेता था।

विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि बैंकिंग क्षेत्र में डिजिटल निगरानी और नियमित ऑडिट के कारण इस प्रकार की गड़बड़ियां जल्दी सामने आ जाती हैं। बैंकिंग संस्थान अब एटीएम कैश प्रबंधन और वित्तीय लेनदेन की निगरानी के लिए अधिक सख्त प्रक्रियाएं अपना रहे हैं।

पुलिस रिमांड पर आरोपी

पुलिस ने आरोपी को अदालत में पेश किया, जहां से उसे एक दिन के पुलिस रिमांड पर भेजा गया है। जांच अधिकारी अब यह पता लगाने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं कि इस मामले में कोई अन्य व्यक्ति शामिल था या नहीं।

फरीदाबाद पुलिस का कहना है कि आर्थिक अपराधों और बैंकिंग धोखाधड़ी के मामलों में सख्त कार्रवाई आगे भी जारी रहेगी।
